I know no one wants to hear it, especially HR, but really, at this point, in addition to my skills and experience, each cover letter should say “I am sorry, I do not mean to ask for your pity, but I really, really need a job. I will do this job well because I have to, quite frankly. Please at least give me an interview; it is serious stakes here.”

Well until now, our kitchen doesn’t have any Executive Chef. Our kitch boss retired almost 2 months ago and Chef Sam, our head chef has been stressed ever since. Anyway, there were 2 who applied for the position. One noted aussie chef residing here in SG and an american chef who is currently working in Shanghai.

I think I slept way too long in one position. My back and shoulders are stiff and cramped!

Hell Weekend!
Business is sooooooo good and it looks like it’s a wedding period here in Singapore. Since yesterday, we were hosting wedding events. There’s a 250 pax last night (and some dinner reservations some more) which made us work from 10-11. But today is the worst! My feet are screaming already and my legs want to fold already!
